  1. Switching from Chromebook to iPad
My iPad connected to my used Bluetooth computer

I recently received an iPad (9th Generation) several months ago. I use it for everyday tasks such as YouTube, Social Media, web browsing, email checking, and gaming (cloud gaming and Apple Arcade). These are all things that I previously also used my Chromebook for (except for Apple Arcade). My Chromebook is getting old and has difficulty keeping up with its 4 Gig of memory. It freezes frequently and is becoming a pain to use. Its main advantage over my iPad is that it has a built-in keyboard, which makes typing documents much easier.

That has all changed since I purchased a Bluetooth keyboard for my iPad. I did not go down the path of spending $100+ for the official iPad keyboard. I bought a used Bluetooth keyboard in new condition on Amazon for $17. It works incredibly well. I am using it right now to write this article. I despise using the virtual keyboard to type anything beyond a website address. The keyboard also holds the iPad in place. The only downsides? It is a bit on the heavy side, so I really have to decide if I want to take it along for traveling purposes. I also do not like that the off switch is on the bottom instead of the top. This is a minor inconvenience, but I am more likely to forget about it being left on after use. It uses AAA batteries, which I prefer over having yet another device to charge.
