I use Edge primarily because it gets me extra Microsoft points for Microsoft Bing searches, which helps pay for my Xbox Game Pass and digital games. I use Chrome if I’m not doing a web search. Microsoft started the cringey messages long before Chrome did. I think Google did it in retaliation. Windows 11 makes it even worse by making more work to use another browser as your primary browser. I would use Safari more if it wasn’t locked to Apple devices. I have no strong preference for basic web browsing.
