I agree to a certain extent for some jobs, but I believe that many of those who left the job market will not be returning. These are the semi-retired and those who were close to retirement that were just hanging on a little longer. The Pandemic changed that dynamic, and thanks to the stock market, these people can finally retire. I think that the more likely scenario is that we will see even greater automation happening. We will truly see the rise of the robots. The great resignation is real and is mostly a psychological reaction to a world event. People will not return quickly to the same type of high stress and low pay jobs after such a large psychological event.
